As with its sister event, the world-famous Grand National Roadster Show (known as GNRS), the show (can we go ahead and call it GNTS already?) was held at the Fairplex in Pomona, California, and was open to all customized trucks, vans, and SUVs regardless of make, model, or year. The event featured a wide range of vehicles and build styles, from traditional early rods and customs to late models, domestic and foreign, lifted and lowered. With sponsors such as O’Reilly Auto Parts, LMC Truck, Classic Truck Performance, and ARP Fasteners in full support, the show was destined for success.Subscribe to our weekly newsletter The show was divided into two parts: the indoor show and the outdoor Grand National Truck-In. The indoor show featured judged classes with top awards and the inaugural “Worlds Most Beautiful Truck” award competition presented by ARP Fasteners, with a $12,500 purse and a custom trophy. The outdoor Grand National Truck-In was presented by Classic Truck Performance and allowed visitors to cruise in with their trucks, hang out with their clubs, and see the inside show. Visitors could also shop with the many vendors and pick up the latest truck-related products from suspension, interior, engine, and lifestyle items. The Grand National Truck Show was a great opportunity for truck enthusiasts to come together and celebrate their passion for trucks and see the best of the best all in one place. As expected, the event was a huge success, with hundreds of trucks on display inside the Fairplex buildings. The Pinstriper Charity Fundraiser was another highlight of the show, where world-class pinstripers created fabulous art while raising money for a worthy charity. The event was sponsored by LMC Truck and Classic Truck Performance. The Grand National Truck Show was a great opportunity for truck enthusiasts to come together and celebrate their passion for trucks and see the best of the best all in one place. It was a fun-filled weekend with something for everyone, from truck displays to food vendors and live music. As the weekend drew to a close, the long-awaited “World’s Most Beautiful Truck” award went to Greg Tidwell’s stunning green South City Rod and custom-built 1940 Ford pickup. The event was a huge success, and we can’t wait to see what the organizers have in store for next year’s show.
