Forget what you’ve heard—truck culture isn’t just alive in Mexico; it’s thriving. Under the blazing Aguascalientes sun, the annual Los Chevroleteros show proved that it’s the beating heart of the Mexican custom truck scene. This year was its biggest, most exciting iteration yet!
We’re talking more than 900 trucks, with builders rolling in from all over Mexico and making the pilgrimage from as far as Arizona, Texas, and California. The energy was palpable from day one, with the event selling out on Saturday, with Sunday being the main event. Isla San Marcos was at absolute max capacity and was a sea of polished chrome, custom paint, slammed trucks, and seriously good vibes.

The craftsmanship on display was next level. The undisputed crown jewel of the event has to go to Autoclinic Restomod’s stunning classic crew cab debut. This isn’t just a truck; it’s a statement piece, reminding everyone why Autoclinic is considered among the best in the game. For many of Mexico’s custom builders, this is the stage to debut their passion project. The months of stress and late nights all melt away when you see your ride under that spotlight, where tears of joy are basically a rite of passage.

What makes this show special, though, goes beyond the builds—it’s the feeling in the air. The inclusiveness, the mix of classic lowriders, radical restomods, and everything in between—all parked side by side in a supportive celebration of hard work and good clean fun! It’s the camaraderie among enthusiasts who just get it. Even a few surprise rain showers couldn’t kill the mood—actually, they were welcomed due to the heat over the weekend. People kept pouring in, knowing this was an opportunity you simply don’t want to miss.
Whether you’re a seasoned fan or just dipping your toes into the scene, there was something to stop you in your tracks. Everyone walked away with a new favorite build and a sense of being part of something special.
One thing’s for sure: Los Chevroleteros has no intention of hitting the brakes. We’re already counting down to see what they bring next year. Consider this your official warning to start planning your trip. You won’t regret it!
