Dino’s Git Down 2022 event coverage

Best of the Best!

What began as a small shop gathering and BBQ for close friends and family has turned into a national event and one of the nation’s largest gatherings of classic Chevy trucks. Dino’s Git Down is officially a household name now (at least in the C10 community, ha ha).

This year was the biggest and best iteration yet; with more than 5,000 Chevy trucks in attendance, it was a spectacle to say the least. Dino, Teri, and the entire crew really went above and beyond to create an event and a weekend that feels less like your average truck show and more like one giant family reunion.

That is the key to the success of this event. Besides being put on by some great people, it really truly felt like a family reunion with folks coming in from all over the country (and beyond!). The show is free for attendees. Having continued to grow, the show changed locations this year from the Westgate to right across the street at the Cardinals Stadium parking lot, which is able to fit more trucks than the eye can see. At the club tents in the tailgating area, vendors cooked up a storm and had a great time.

It is hard to explain just how awesome of a time this event is if you haven’t experienced it in person. But here are some photos to show you just how high quality yet fun this show really is.

Check out the interview we did with Dino to dive a bit deeper into his love and passion for classic Chevys, along with his killer square cover feature. We really wanted to do something special in this issue to celebrate the people who make this magazine so amazing! We hope to see you all out there next year!
