Small Block Serpentine

YOU CAN NEVER GO WRONG WITH BASIC BLACK. TAKE EDDIE Motorsports’ Raven Series S-Drive Serpentine Pulley Drive Systems. They feature CNC-machined billet aluminum brackets and engine-driven accessories—170 amp alternator, GM Type 2 power steering pump, water pump, Sanden A/C compressor and Gates belt tensioner (where applicable)—in your choice of black anodized, black powdercoated and matte black powdercoated finishes that will look good in any engine compartment.

Like all S-Series drive systems, the Raven Series systems use either a six- or eight-rib serpentine belt depending on the application, and systems for GM LS engines come with an SFI-approved harmonic balancer. Eddie Motorsports was even thoughtful enough to use stainless steel fasteners.

Eddie Motorsports Raven Series S-Drive Serpentine Pulley Drive Systems are available for these engines:

Cool C10s!

C&R RACING MANUFACTURES SOME OF THE HARDEST working cooling system components available, including stuff for professional IndyCar drivers. The benefit? You get the same expert know-how and advanced tech the pros get when you upgrade to an C&R OE Fit Crossflow Radiator for your 1967-87 Chevy or GMC C10.

The radiators have an extruded aluminum core that provides maximum contact between coolant and tubes for consistent cooling that outperforms old school copper-brass radiators—no matter how much horsepower you throw down. The crossflow design allows coolant to fl ow side-to-side for better performance at higher RPM, and joints are TIG-welded so you don’t have to worry about epoxy falling out and causing leaks.

C&R Racing OE Fit Crossflow Radiators fit the stock core supports with no cutting or drilling needed and have an upper “soft mount” system for better positioning. Radiators for automatic transmission applications have a built-in transmission fluid cooler.

Forged LS Pistons

NO MATTER WHAT TYPE OF LS ENGINE combination you’re building, there is a Summit Racing Pro LS Forged Piston for it. They’re available for popular crank strokes, connecting rod lengths and bore sizes, with compression ratios starting in the mid-9:1 range for boosted engines and up to 11.5:1 for naturally aspirated or nitrous-fed motors. Summit Racing Pro LS pistons are forged from 2618 alloy aluminum, chosen for its ductility and crack resistance. Summit Racing Pro LS Forged Pistons are available in versions for Gen 3 press-fit, Gen 4 floating and aftermarket 6.125-inch connecting rods.

Square Links

NOW YOU CAN UPGRADE THE REAR SUSPENSION OF your 1973-1987 C10 with a new torque arm design, a complement to the QA1 front suspension systems released last year. With these all-new, engineered-fromscratch rear systems, truck owners can add modern performance to a pickup that was designed for utility—all without removing the bed of the truck. QA1 engineered a unique bolt-in torque arm design that maximizes performance without the inherent binding issues of other four-link systems. Dialing in the stance will be easy with the adjustable coil-over system–4 inches to 7 inches of adjustment below stock can easily be achieved.

Used together, the front and rear systems outfit trucks with modern-day driveability on all four corners. Designed specifically for 73-87 C10s, the systems offer up to 7 inches of drop, and they save weight and add strength and stability for a great ride and improved handling.

Releasing Control

IDIDIT PERFORMANCE PRESENTS ITS QUICK RELEASE Steering Hub with Centering Pin. Drivers who require a removable steering wheel can now be assured of perfect wheel centering every time, thanks to the Ididit Performance Quick Release Steering Hub, which now comes standard with a centering pin.

Ididit Performance has upgraded all of its five- and six-bolt steering hubs to include a centering pin as part of the quick release hub that allows the steering wheel to be smoothly engaged with the spline in the same position every time. All Ididit Performance pull-type quick release hubs are SFI certified. The hubs include tight machining tolerances, eliminating backlash in the steering wheel for very tight steering and feel. A steel spline on an aluminum hub means no binding of the quick release mechanism when installing or removing the wheel, and the pull ring is made of anodized aluminum for weight savings.

Blueprint to Success

WE DON’T KNOW WHAT KIND OF ALCHEMY IS GOING on at BluePrint Engines, but it’s come up with high output small block Chevy 350 crate engines for a price we’re still not sure is real. We’re talking about fully assembled engines that makes 365 horsepower and 405 ft-lbs of torque.

  • Four-bolt main iron block with one-piece rear main seal
  • Blocks are align-bored, square and parallel decked, and have cylinders bored 0.040-inch over to 0.0002-inch roundness
  • New hypereutectic pistons, cast steel crank and resized connecting rods
  • 64cc Vortec cast iron heads with 2.02-inch/1.60-inch valves, 1.25-inch valve springs
  • New hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, 224-degree/230- degress duration at 0.050 inch, 0.480-inch/0.486-inch lift
  • New oil pump
  • Dual plane intake manifold with Holley 600 cfm carburetor
  • HEI distributor
  • Spark plugs and ignition wires
  • Harmonic balancer and flexplate
  • Air cleaner, valve covers, oil pan, thermostat and housing, and timing cover

  • Mechanical fuel pump and fuel line
  • Serpentine drive pulley system
  • A/C compressor
  • Power steering pump
  • Water pump
  • Alternator
  • Starter

As with all BluePrint engines, each Chevy 350/365 HP engine is dyno-tested to make sure it hits or exceeds the advertised horsepower and torque numbers, and you’ll get a dyno test sheet that verifies those numbers. This service is something other engine builders charge a lot extra for—if they offer it at all. And BluePrint’s 30-month/50,000-mile limited warranty gives you peace of mind that you bought the right motor.
