Living the Life and Printing the Passion Frame-laying, bagged classic trucks tend to fill the pages of Street Trucks magazine month after month. I’m sure you’ve noticed that we’ve been sprinkling in some new content to please the masses—and we haven’t forgotten about our lifted truck fans. We know other magazines out there dedicate their pages to nothing but lifted trucks, but since we’re a brand that represents all things on the road, it’s time for us to show a little love to our four-wheel-drive family. Personally, I’ve been a fan of lifted trucks just as long as minis and classics were on my mind. The very first truck I ever owned was a 1989 Chevy S-10. As soon as I got it home, I added a body lift to it along with a set of 31-inch tires. It rubbed like crazy and the four-cylinder could barely keep up, but it was something custom that I could build for cheap and call my own. I couldn’t be prouder of that little truck, and I put it to work over the years.Subscribe to our weekly newsletter Fast forward around 10 years, and I can now say I’ve owned quite a few bagged frame draggers as well as some beefy, lifted 4x4s. I’ve hung out with enthusiasts and passionate gearheads from both walks of life with dramatically different backgrounds. The one thing that stands true is that we all have the same passion for cool trucks—we just have different flavors when it comes to stance and style. Nothing wrong with that! There’s no better feeling than attending a major national event like LST or Slamfest to see both lifted and lowered truck guys side by side talking mods. A few beers and a full day of truck chat on a weekend beats sitting in the office or working on the job site any day of the week. We all share the road and respect our rides, but this month the big guys are in the Street Trucks spotlight. Browse through the pages and check out some of the most recently lifted trucks on the scene and send us a message with what builds you have in store. We’re in the heart of show season right now, which is our favorite time of the year, so clean those trucks because we will see you out there! The one thing that stands true is that we all have the same passion for cool trucks—we just have different flavors when it comes to stance and style. Nothing wrong with that!
