1983 Custom Deluxe C10 Squarebody with Vintage Air on a 5.7L V8

This truck is an ’83 Custom Deluxe C10 Squarebody. It has a 5.7 tuned port engine swapped out of an ’88 Trans Am along with the 700-R4 from the same car. This truck was originally a Non AC truck.

So the Vintage Air kit came with all the vents needed to get the job done. (For the dash and gauge bezel) and defrost under the dash pad. They even had a bracket kit to update from the old GM R4 style AC compressor to the newer and more efficient Sanden compressor.

I thought this would make a great little around town “shop truck” It just needed AC for the hot Florida summers! Who better to contact but Vintage Air. This truck also has Dakota Digital gauges, American Racing Salt Flat wheels size 20×9.5 and 20×8 wheels with 275/40/20 rear tires and 245/45/20 front tires. Combined with a 4″ front and 6″ rear suspension drop that consists of new spindles and springs up front with a flip kit in the rear.
