Up next DEADBODY | More Than Just Another Mini-Truck Published on February 04, 2022 Author Ronnie Share article Facebook 0 Twitter 0 Mail 0 The Final Word From Ronnie With C10 Talk Truck Friends Isn’t it funny how you have family friends, work friends, school friends and truck friends?! Let’s take a quick look at why truck friends are the best. Maybe this will help you personally, as a truck friend yourself, to gauge your circle. A truck friendSubscribe to our weekly newsletter …is a coveted label, like a merit badge that you earn. It isn’t something you automatically get because you drive a truck. Honesty, a truck friend doesn’t necessarily even have to drive a truck! How does that make sense? Well, hold on. …should own at least one truck, but that doesn’t mean he/she is actually driving it. It may be in a state of modification or repair. This truck friend most likely has at least one truck in a non-drivable state. …doesn’t even question when you buy another truck! Instead of saying something like, “Did you buy another truck?”, they say something like, “Dude, awesome! You bought another truck!” …will send you a link for another truck they found online the day after you just bought your third project truck. …is ready and willing to lend a hand anytime you tell them you need some help—pulling that motor, moving that seat, wiring, welding—they are there! …will loan you any tool you need! A true truck friend shows up with a steering wheel puller, axle seal puller or whatever you need. They make it happen. …will constantly tag you in marketplace ads of parts you may need or pictures of other people’s projects to keep you motivated. When you get to your truck friend’s house, they might have three or four projects in various build stages. Truck friends are wired like you… it’s the others that are basic and don’t understand your passion like we do! Truck friends even remind you of important dates in your life. No, not your wedding anniversary, but the truck shows and local meet ups, of course! Usually someone has a truck hauler, and you both know you can use it anytime. If you’re really lucky, one of your truck friends may even have a shop or garage that you’re welcome to visit whenever, and you just might even have a key! So now you have the gist of things. These types of friends are the core of this community, and why it is as great as it is. Truck friends are invaluable. They’re friends that you can undoubtedly count on, that care about one another and become lifelong friends through trucks. That right there is a true truck friend. Are you a truck friend?
