OBS Fuel Cell

Boyd Welding is the leader in fuel tanks and their new ’88-’98 tank includes a 41001 in-tank EFI assembly combined with an Aeromotive 340 fuel pump. Each tank is intended to mount to the bottom of the frame rail without removing the “X” shape rear cross member.

Coilover Suspension Systems for ’88-’98

Ridetech recently announced the launch of two new suspension systems for 1988-1998 C1500 pickup trucks. Available in coilover and air ride configurations, both systems replace your truck’s leaf springs with wishbone-link rear suspension and tubular StrongArm front suspension.

The wishbone upper link locates your truck’s axle without the need for a separate Panhard bar and works with two lower links to improve handling, ride quality better than leaf springs. It all bolts to your factory frame by way of a tubular crossmember and heavy-duty C-notches. Ridetech StrongArms and 2-inch drop spindles combined with coilovers or air springs wand a MUSCLEbar front sway bar complete the system.

Engine Swap Wiring

This harness is designed for 1996-1999 5.0L & 5.7L Vortec CMFI engines with a 4L60E or 4L80E transmission. Included with this harness is an eight-circuit modular fuse block and GM color coded wires with labels for easy installation.

Rack-and-Pinion Kit

Elevated Concepts recently released this rack-and-pinion steering conversion kit for ’88-’98 2WD Chevy trucks. This kit bolts into the factory locations using the supplied bracket, and includes all the hoses, flow valve, U-joint, bump steer kit and hardware you will need. This is a Uni-Steer Mustang II style rack that has been re-valved and built for this style truck. You can request this kit for lifted applications, and this kit will work on stock to body dropped trucks.
