Hot New Suspension Systems for 88-98 C1500 | Coilover and Airride

Coilover and Air Ride Suspension Systems | GMT400

1998 chevy 1500

Ridetech is very proud to announce the launch of two new suspension systems for 1988-1998 C1500 pickup trucks. Available in coilover and airride configurations, both systems replace your truck’s leaf springs with wishbone-link rear suspension and tubular StrongArm™ front suspension.
The wishbone upper link serves two purposes: First, it locates your truck’s axle without the need for a separate Panhard bar or another device. Second, it works with two lower links to improve handling, ride quality better than leaf springs. Lower links feature Ridetech’s maintenance-free R-joint rod ends. It all bolts to your factory frame by way of a tubular crossmember and heavy-duty C-Notches.

For the front suspension, Ridetech StrongArms™ offer revised geometry for improved performance. 2″ drop spindles facilitate lowering. Choose coilovers or air springs with adjustable HQ Series Shock Absorbers. A MUSCLEbar™ front sway bar, with investment-cast bar ends and delrin-lined bushings, completes the system.

The team at Ridetech says they’re having tons of fun driving their GMT400 R&D truck. Apparently, 1988-1998 C1500 pickups respond especially well to suspension upgrades. Clean examples of these trucks are still around. Better pick one up while they are still affordable.
