Classic Chevrolet Iron Shines at the 14th Annual Brothers Truck Show

Every year the crew from Brothers Truck Parts in Corona, California, hosts a custom truck show on the grounds of Featherly Park in Anaheim, California. It’s a day for classic Bowtie lovers to come together and show off their pride and joy under the warm California sun while taking in some good con- versation, killer grub and giving the eye balls a good solid workout.

On July 8th the dedicated team at Brothers Truck Parts did it again with row after row of 1947-87 Chevrolet/GMC pickups coated in various eye- popping shades and completed at all different levels of customization. From flat-out body-dragging C-10s to pavement-stomping tri-five trucks and even a few “assembly-line quality” restored stockers, the Brothers Truck Show always delivers with something for every enthusiast’s taste and style.

Roll-in began about 9 a.m. as the streets bor- dering Featherly Canyon RV Park were flooded with classic Bowtie iron. As camshafts thumped and exhaust cackled, attendees waited in line as the Brothers staff worked steadily to check everyone in and direct them to their parking spot for the day.

Great food and live jams kept spirits high, and with several quality vendors on hand there was something on deck for every gearhead to tickle the buying bone. Brothers sets up a large booth every year so many of their wares are available at the show, and with a full table of raffle prizes it’s pretty tough to walk away empty-handed.

In addition to all of the amazing trucks, great people and superb venue, the Brothers Show is extremely laid back with barbecues cranking and conversation flowing under the shady over- hangs and foliage of Featherly Park. The show offers a true family atmosphere where people can display their trucks and bring their junior cleaning crew for a day of fun in the Southern California sun.

As the show came to a close the deserving winners from each class were called up to the stage to be commended for their shining Bowtie diamonds. This year the Best of Show award went to Vail Hilton and his gorgeous deep black, full custom ‘55 Chevy pickup.
