Sweet 16 Success: Last Resort Truck Show Hits a Milestone

16 YEARS AND GOING STRONG

A sweet 16th is a special occasion for anybody, as it’s usually filled with excitement, enjoyment and endless entertainment. Last Resort, Louisiana’s largest truck show, just celebrated its 16th anniversary, and it was by far its best event to date. With well over 500 entries, Stuart Daigle and his entire hardworking crew set the bar for custom truck shows nationwide. Located at the Oil & Gas Park in Jennings, Louisiana, Last Resort is a connecting point for the Southern truck scene as it is conveniently situated between Houston and New Orleans, so it usually receives a diverse turnout each year.

The 2023 sponsors included Air Lift, Verret Motorsports, Jeff Davis Parish Tourism Commission, Explicit Concepts, and Twisted Addictions. For awards, a Top 75 was announced as well as 17 Best Of awards, giving everyone a chance to collect a one-of-a-kind custom skate deck or another great prize. DJ Get Low and Toasta were on hand during the entire show keeping the crowd pumped up, and the afterparty didn’t disappoint. KIK Clothing had its booth set up with plenty of hot merchandise for every spectator to wear. Eggrollin Hut had a prime spot at the show with its brand new rig and plenty of food to go around all weekend.

Stuart wishes to thank his wife Collette and all their hardworking staff for the successful milestone show. They work tirelessly over the whole four-day period to provide an event for everyone to enjoy, and they truly appreciate the respect they received from the patrons of Last Resort 2023.
