SOUTHEASTERN MINITRUCKIN NATIONALS 2021 Full Coverage

The 27th Annual Event Rolls into North Carolina

Of you haven’t heard of Southeastern Minitruckin Nationals, you’ve been missing out! One of the most anticipated truck shows for the “mini” trucks every year, it sells 700 tickets in less than 2 minutes, so you know Jason Bell and crew have a good thing happening!

After pulling into Maggie Valley, North Carolina, after my flight, I noticed welcome signs for the show attendees. It is really cool to see a town support the massive event with open arms. Upon arriving at the show on Friday, the place was already packed like a Saturday. When you see it that slammed on Friday, you instantly know it’s going to be a great weekend!

Jason and his crew were at the front gate welcoming each and every person who came out to see the show. I spent hours roaming around, shooting photos and talking to industry friends who I hadn’t seen in a while. I shook hands with familiar vendors, including Mini Trucker Union, Garage Gear Clothing, Grinder TV, Kustom Life, Dropem Wear and many more that were lined up on both sides of the grounds.

The show grounds itself expands over a massive fairground field with a main stage on one side. The field of trucks includes old-school minis to newer style full-size trucks and everything in between.

A cool added benefit to Mini Nats is the street-legal dragging on the main strip. Cruising is a huge part of the weekend that people look forward to all year long. Basically everyone who attends the show—and even the local folks—pop a chair down and enjoy the activities. It brought back the memories of the older days of everyone having an easy-going, good time.

Jason would like to thank title sponsors Bells Rod Shop and Air Lift Performance and all the vendors and attendees. It’s the supporters and everyone who attend that keep the scene going strong and thriving!

Next year get ready for the 28th annual event for Mini Nats April 21-24, 2022, in Maggie Valley. We hope that you get one of the golden tickets before they sell out! See you all out there for another great year!
