With the truck back at our shop, the true artistry of this charity project is set to flourish. Subscribe to our weekly newsletter Dismantling for Excellence The first order of business involves a comprehensive disassembly of the vehicle. This meticulous process will pave the way for a remarkable transformation as we prepare to powdercoat the frame, ensuring the foundation of the Sergeant Square is as remarkable as its appearance. We understand that the heart of a powerful build rests upon a strong chassis. Painting the Dream Teaming up with Johnny’s Hot Rods, we’re taking the next stride by embarking on a painting journey. The new body parts, sourced from LMC Truck, will come to life with the finest quality paint from PPG Products. The crew’s skilled hands at Johnny’s Hot Rods will work their magic, infusing the truck with a lustrous finish that exemplifies the Street Trucks commitment to excellence. The Sergeant Square project continues to evolve, transforming from a humble Squarebody pickup into a symbol of support for Mission 22. As each component falls into place, the truck embodies the spirit of excellence and charitable giving, driving toward its ultimate debut at SEMA 2023. Wiring the Power Underneath the revamped exterior, the real engineering marvels are set to take shape. Current Performance’s plug-and-play harness will facilitate the engine wiring process, streamlining the installation of the powertrain. But that’s not all. A complete rewiring of the truck, thanks to our new Painless Performance wiring kit, ensures that every inch of the Sergeant Square adheres to the highest standards of functionality and reliability. Fueling Ambitions Hot Rod Fuel Hose emerges as a key player in this phase, supplying the fuel system components that will fuel Sergeant Square’s ambitions. As a direct dealer for renowned brands like Aeromotive Inc., Hot Rod Fuel Hose guarantees top-notch quality and rapid access to the parts needed to keep the project running smoothly. Modern Elegance Adding a touch of modern elegance, New Vintage USA’s gauges will soon grace Sergeant Square’s dashboard. These gauges combine vintage aesthetics with contemporary functionality, providing essential information in a style that complements the classic truck design. New Vintage USA’s dedication to period-style gauges resonates with the heart of the project. Comfort and Quality In our pursuit of perfection, DEI Engineering’s interior heat and sound-deadening material is making its way into the Sergeant Square. This addition ensures a comfortable and serene cabin, all while we collaborate with Fesler USA on crafting the new interior—a space that blends comfort and sophistication. The Sergeant Square project continues to evolve, transforming from a humble Squarebody pickup into a symbol of support for Mission 22. As each component falls into place, the truck embodies the spirit of excellence and charitable giving, driving toward its ultimate debut at SEMA 2023. Stay tuned to witness the unfolding of this remarkable journey, where automotive craftsmanship meets a noble cause.
