Fat Fender Garage had a tradition of doing a block party in the past but with the growth of the business and moving buildings they missed having the block party in 2024. So, they wanted to kick 2025 off right with an epic block party not only to say thank you to their customers and the community but to celebrate being in the new facility for the first year.

My buddy Preston and I decided we had to make the drive down from Idaho to Gilbert, AZ for the bash. The party was scheduled to kick off at 5pm on a Friday evening, so we rolled in at 4:30, the food vendors were already set up and the parking lot was already starting to fill up with rad trucks.

We could hear the music inside from the parking lot, so we made our way inside to see what was going on. There were a ton of stunning trucks on display inside along with builds in progress, and an interactive chassis on display. The had a stage with a DJ playing great music and Meguiars had a booth showing off some of their great products.

As the evening rolled on the building got packed with people walking around checking everything out. So, we headed back outside to see what else had showed up and oh man it was packed with all kinds of builds. There was a little of everything from survivors- to fully built trucks.

I ended up spending a bunch of time chatting with friends and meeting a ton of great new people as well. The truck scene in AZ is pretty awesome! It kept threating to rain but that didn’t seem to deter anyone from hanging out.
