Electric C10 Ep. 9 | 3D Scanning the Twin Tesla Swapped Squarebody

If this twin Tesla motor squarebody wasn’t high-tech enough, we’re taking it one step further this week! We’re starting off by scanning our front and rear subframes in our C10 with the Peel 3D Scanner. This will give us the digital data we need for KW suspensions to build us some custom coil-overs for our F1 style push rod suspension. Once we have the digital renderings of our subframes, we start piecing together the front of this truck! We got our new bumper and trim pieces from AMD delivered to the shop. We’re giving the bumper a little nip and tuck before hitting it with the Peel 2, so the guys at Fortune Flares can create a wicked front splitter to go with the rear diffuser we had custom built in-house! By the end of this episode we have our whole truck scanned, our fender arches cut, and our mock up wheels on this 1985 C10 Tesla Swapped squarebody. With the Vossen mock up wheels on the truck, this thing looks like we can drive it right off the chassis table; but we still have a bunch of work to do to this EV swapped Chevy.
