Info From an Industry Insider

The holiday and SEMA seasons are upon us. At the time of this writing, many truck enthusiasts are thrashing away on their current projects to debut at the SEMA Show in November. Let’s take a moment to tip our cap to the Specialty Equipment Market Association, or SEMA for short, which held its first event in 1967.

SEMA continues to pivot and move as it relates to staying up with the times. If you follow @semashow on Instagram, you will see what I mean. Everything from SEMA Fest to collaboration posts with true enthusiasts are now commonplace. Shoutout to Georjah Erin Silva @georjah_erin of @TiredAutomotive, who collaborated with the official SEMA Instagram during her mini-truck debut at the annual event in 2024. Talk about awesome! Georjah is an awesome female enthusiast in our scene, and her collaboration with SEMA utilizing a mini-truck was huge!

In closing, don’t forget to spend some time with the family during the holiday season and get some rest! Oh, and be sure to keep it tuned to the Motortopia YouTube channel for more. Until next month, keep it real and check out OLP by scanning the QR code for more truck-inspired content.

Stay On Da Rise!

Peace, Jason ODB
