Some builds are impressive because of the parts list. Others are memorable because of the people behind them. This truck is both. In this episode of the Storyteller Series, we take a closer look at Jonathan “English” and the crew at Quiet to Riot Customs, a tight-knit group of builders from Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, who have spent more than 15 years building incredible vehicles, lifelong friendships, and a community that shares the same passion for custom trucks. Jonathan’s 1950s Ford F-250 is impossible to ignore. Wearing its original red paint under satin clear, the truck features a custom widebody conversion, stretched bed and fenders, Detroit Steel Ambassador wheels, and one of the nastiest diesel setups you'll find in a classic Ford. Under the hood sits a 5.9-liter 12-valve Cummins built to produce roughly 640 horsepower, featuring upgraded injectors, a larger turbo, fire-ringed head, double valve springs, and a FASS fuel system. The hood-exit exhaust guarantees that this truck sounds every bit as aggressive as it looks. The custom chassis features a fully boxed frame, front Z, rear step notch, Air Lift suspension, QA1 shocks, and a unique combination of modern Ford suspension and brake components. Every detail was designed and built by Jonathan and the Quiet to Riot Customs team. But what makes this build truly special isn't just the horsepower or fabrication work. It's the people. From hosting burnout events like the QTR Roast to building trucks with their closest friends, Quiet to Riot Customs embodies what the automotive lifestyle is all about: building cool stuff, creating memories, and having fun with the people who feel like family. This isn't just a custom truck. It's a rolling reminder that the best builds are often the ones built together.
