Sparks in the Park 2022 event coverage

A Hidden Gem in Florida

Sparks in the Park is an annual show and one of our favorite “hidden gems” of the show year. The creation and brainchild of David and Kim Dekorver, Sparks in the Park is held at the Mullet Festival Grounds in Niceville, Florida. It’s a smalltown show with some very heavy hitters in attendance, and we just love the vibe and family appeal. More than 150 registered entries this year made their way from all over the Southeast, and more than 5,000 people enjoyed the weekend’s events and gorgeous Florida weather.

Many events have come and gone through the years, but when an enthusiast decides to put together a custom truck show for a good cause, plenty of people rally around in the same effort to ensure success. This year the C10 Club of Florida came out huge and took home the Club Participation and bragging rights. As things have tightened up a bit, no one in this scene is letting it get the best of them. We all stand together and help those in need. That’s one of the coolest things to see in this community and we absolutely love seeing the support coast to coast.

Always a ton to see and a fun event for the family, the show had some serious vendors on deck and plenty of food, folks, and fun to be had. We really enjoyed our trip out and can’t wait to do it again next year. We will definitely be back for 2023! For more information be sure to visit Sparksinthepark850 on Facebook.
