Everyone comes across his or her affinity for customs in a different way. Michael Foster from Spring, Texas is in the advertising biz and has traveled for work for as long as he can remember. During one trip, he picked up a few custom truck magazines to pass the time. As he turned the pages, something clicked inside him and he was instantly hooked. Now, as many of our readers probably know, there’s a plethora of bad-ass custom trucks making their way out of Texas these days, so it was only a matter of time before Michael found the perfect truck and team to turn his dream into a reality.

Hunting for the perfect canvas, Michael came across an ’03 Ram 1500 that he hoped to turn into a rolling work of art. Michael struck a deal for the truck, which was already a work-in-progress project, and got to work making it his own. Once the air suspension was installed, he gave it a completely stylized stance with giant staggered Intro billets with plenty of dish in the rear. The truck tucked the killer wheels deep into the fender wells and Michael was in love. His dream was coming together right before his eyes, and since this was his first custom, he was just getting warmed up.
“MICHAEL HAS INVESTED A SOLID TWO YEARS INTO THIS BUILD WITH PLENTY OF BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS TO PROVE THE BATTLES FOUGHT.

Now that he had a respectable cruiser he decided that he would keep going. Chaotic Customs was on board to help spruce up Michael’s 1500 and give it a bit more color. He decided on a subtle blue flame accent for the silver base and carried the theme into the cabin as well. For sounds, Kicker, Clarion and Focal components were chosen. To wrap up the interior, a few key painted and billet accents were included, along with leather flamed seats to add the final spark necessary to stand out from the crowd.

Although, it sometimes sounds fairly easy to turn a completely stock truck into a full custom, more often than not, it’s anything but. Michael has invested a solid two years into this build with plenty of blood, sweat and tears to prove the battles fought. Although this is just his very first custom build, he tells us that he couldn’t be happier with the outcome. He also shared that without the support of his wife and family, he might have thrown in the towel long ago. He sends a huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this beaut to life, and if this is any indication of what’s to come, we’re excited to see what tricks Michael has up his sleeve for his next custom build.
