After 20 years of existence, however, the show unfortunately came to an end in 2013. “When they announced they were no longer going to host the show, we felt it was time to slowly introduce Washington to a little bit of what we do in Arizona,” Trevino said.Subscribe to our weekly newsletter In 2014, that’s exactly what he did, and NW Cruise to the Pines was on its first roll through Washington. It has been a slow start compared to participation of CTTP in Arizona, but Trevino feels that hosting a more intimate show with this pace is a quality foundation for the future of the cruise. The cruise is about 120 miles, starting in Arlington, Washington, at Angel of the Winds Casino and finishing its breathtaking route through 100 acres of private land in Arlington Heights, Washington. The property has a Christmas tree farm and a beautiful lake surrounded by fully grown trees—we highly recommend camping here during the event! This car show was one of the most unique, inviting car shows to be a part of. No cell phone service for anyone, just camp fires and stories about a man named Swamp. Expectedly, there was a little rain, but that didn’t stop friends and truck owners from joining together for rad vibes and showing off their personal talents. Altogether, 45 pre-registered and 65 vehicles total were on the cruise. The attendance for the show was just over 100 this year, but 2019 is set to be even bigger! Just like the Arizona cruise, John feeds everyone with the help of his WA Chapter members, including Tanner Riedel, Billy Pratt, Matt Peterson, his beautiful wife Veronica Peterson and many others who make it all come together. Trevino takes a large amount of pride in what he brings you year after year, in all events he hosts. Perfect Poise has a true leader, and together they will continue to make a rad impact in our automotive community. If you are thinking about adding a new car show to your list next year, we suggest draggin’ into this adventure! Stay tuned on Facebook and Instagram for the August 2019 show dates.
