EMMANUEL INIGUEZ HAS BUILT THE TOYOTA TACOMA OF HIS DREAMS, AND AS WE ALL KNOW, DREAMS AREN’T REALIZED OVERNIGHT, AND THEY DON’T COME TRUE WITHOUT SERIOUS EFFORT. Whether your dream is to build a custom truck, become a professional basketball player, or heck, even if your dream is to eat tacos everyday, effort is still required. Emmanuel’s custom truck is no exception.

Even though he grew up in a small town, Emmanuel had a big custom truck influence in his life. He was even around during the formative years of local truck club, Aftermath, which he ultimately ended up joining. Old timers and contemporaries alike pushed him to build a custom of his own, and even his daughter Alexus urged him to follow his custom dreams.
With all of these positive influences pushing him toward his goal, Emmanuel got busy and purchased a truck from his coworker at The Cut Barbershop. Emmanuel’s friend had done most of the work on the truck while he his still in high school, so it was in dire need of refinishing and updating. Emmanuel plunged right in and went above and beyond to make the Tacoma show ready.

The Toyota sports a bright Sunrise pearl paint job that grabs your eye, and slick Raceline wheels stand out as the truck sits low. The 2001 Tacoma front end gives the truck its perfect smile. The shaved door handles and rear Cali combo skin are smooth as butter. Under the hood reside a 2.4 dual cam four-cylinder engine with a K&N intake, and out back is a Magnaflow exhaust for extra kick.
The interior was reupholstered with a beige and textured peanut butter-colored vinyl to coordinate with the yellow exterior paint. Taking care of the seating arrangements, bucket seats from a 1995 Acura Integra were salvaged and cut down. The contrast of a shiny outside and beige inside adds to the truck’s clean look. The interior also boasts a Pioneer head unit with Kicker KS speakers.

At the end of the day, the truck is not only show ready, it’s the culmination of Emmanuel’s hard work and dreams. If you want something, reach for it and take it by the Tacoma? That’s not the right saying, but you get the point. This surely cannot be the last truck that Emmanuel builds, and we look forward to seeing what he produces in the future.
