Countdown to SEMA 2024: Inside the Trade Show and Vegas Kickoff Events

As I compose this column, it is almost time for SEMA 2024. It is often said that “SEMA is not a show,” but did the individual who came up with that statement realize that the official SEMA Instagram handle is @SEMAShow? OK, I get that SEMA isn’t a car or truck show per se, however it “is the premier trade show geared to help small businesses thrive and succeed” per SEMA’s official website. So in a sense, it is a show.

SEMA continues to pivot and move in terms of the product it showcases to the world annually in Las Vegas, and it shows via the vast show floor of amazing attendees and vendors. Did I mention my favorite part of SEMA 2024 is the Freaks of Nature Unofficial SEMA Kickoff Party, which includes the Mini-Truck Hall of Fame induction? This happens yearly on the Monday before SEMA, and is the perfect way to kick off the long week in Vegas. We hope you will join the festivities on Monday Nov. 4, 2024, at Hogs and Heifers.
