Concept One has released the best serpentine single belt system for LS engines with Magnuson or Edelbrock superchargers. Utilizing a high traction eight-rib pulley/belt arrangement, Concept One believes it to be the first aftermarket design of its type.
How to relocate A/C compressor in an LS engine swap? The chief impediment when installing an LS engine in an early chassis is the location of the A/C compressor, which is located on the lower right. In its original position it often interferes with chassis parts, not the least of which is the cross member. Concept One has overcome these imminent troubles by relocating the compressor to the upper right.
Created to function with all Gen III and Gen IV LS engines with Magnuson or Edelbrock superchargers, this kit provides a compact, polished Sanden SD-7 compressor as well as a new Delphi aluminum power steering pump. As standard equipment, the pump is provided with Concept One’s exclusive billet mini reservoir. Also included are a cast aluminum water pump and a 105-amp polished Powermaster one-wire alternator.
Appropriate to Concept One’s way of doing things, all pulley ratios are calculated for optimum drivability, and are more attractive because of it. The company has taken its popular roadster-style steering column and added the modern convenience of five-position tilt. This compact tilt steering column is ideal for classic cars or trucks, roadsters and the early 1953-62 Corvette.
How to upgrade steering column for classic roadster? With only 5 ½ inches from the bottom of the dish to the top of the column’s shroud, this compact, space-saving design has a nostalgic look and full tilt functionality. This new roadster-style tilt column fits snug against the dash, and compared to a standard tilt column, it also allows for an additional 2 inches of clearance in the driver’s seat.
Each column is CNC machined from high grade 304 stainless steel. This column comes with a sleek 1 ¾-inch tube diameter and is available in a variety of lengths and finishes, including paintable mill, polished and black or custom powder coat. Each column comes standard with a GM 4 1/4-inch wiring connector, horn functionality, canceling cam, turn signal arm, tilt lever and hazard knob.
