Behind The Scenes in 2020 | THE BEST AMONG THE REST EVENTS AND MORE

It wasn’t the best year for the show scene. We were going to pick a “Best Event” for 2020, but after some discussion and back-and-forth debate, we felt it just wouldn’t be fair to pick a winner. Some shows were cancelled, and others were postponed due to the pandemic that slowly seems to be retreating, but not all were shut down and forced into the dark. We want to commend the shows that were able to avoid a reschedule and keep the gates open to the public. We know it wasn’t easy, but you did it!

We were able to travel to a few events around the country, including a one-on-one private event at the only Formula 1 track in the country, Circuits of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Our network of amazing photographers hit as many shows as they could, and the trucks came out in swarms as often as possible. Sometimes there were no spectators, which was weird, but the shows went on.

We gathered a collection of our favorite event photos in print from the past year. Some of these pics are from 2019 events, but all are from print issues in 2020. We know a lot of our readers only follow the industry though the pages of Street Trucks, so in our world, these are all the best event images from shows around the US in 2020. Enjoy!
