Many years ago, the hot spots for large custom truck shows were fairly limited to certain regions, like California, Texas and Florida. For-tunately the custom truck scene has spread like wildfire in the past decade all over the country and even the world.

One of the hottest shows in recent years is actually held in Arkansas, Slamily Reunion. Robbie Bryant and the crew at KEG Media started Slam- ily four years ago to bring a custom truck show to their area in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Of course, they didn’t just get a local turnout, many truck enthu- siasts were happy to travel in from out of state.

This past year was bigger than ever and featured plenty of entertainment throughout the hot summer weekend. Some of the fun events were a 7,000- sq-ft tattoo expo, live bands, a kid’s slide and coloring contests, eating challenges and more. Several shops made custom awards to be handed out. Best of Show was accompanied by a cash prize and went to Steve Harris’ Carizzma Silverado.
