From the NFL to SEMA, Mario Addison built a wild ’82 Chevy K30 with a Whipple-blown LT4, 30-inch Forgiatos, and 16 inches of lift, in just 3 months! The Storyteller Series is back with another heavy hitter, Mario Addison’s 1982 Chevy K30, better known as Twister. Most people spend years building a SEMA truck. Mario? He did it in just three months. With the help of Will Davis and the crew at Built by Yo, this K30 got a full custom Plan B Fab chassis with 16 inches of lift, Fox coilovers, Ruthless Fab triple bypass shocks, and Ford F-350 axles converted to a dually. Rolling strong on 30-inch Forgiato Wade wheels wrapped in 42-inch Fury tires, this beast commands attention day or night, especially with 26 Infinite Off-Road rock lights glowing underneath. Under the hood sits a 2019 Chevy LT4 with the factory blower swapped out for a Gen 5 Whipple supercharger, backed by Speed Engineering headers, Racetronix fuel pressure regulator, and billet details to keep it clean and mean. Inside, Ultimate Audio went all out, Dakota Digital gauges, Kenwood head unit, JL Audio subs, fifth-gen Camaro SS seats, and purple vinyl and suede everywhere, tied together with a starlight headliner. From his NFL career to opening Built by Yo, Mario’s grit and determination carried over into the custom truck world, and Twister proves it. Debuting at SEMA 2024 and rolling straight to Dino’s Git Down the next week, this K30 is far from done making noise on the show scene.
